You are able to use your own insurance if you have it, but most household insurance doesn’t cover goods in Self Storage. As an alternative to arranging your own insurance, we can accept an enhanced liability for loss or damage to your goods up to your stated Maximum Replacement value under StoreProtect.
StoreProtect offers peace of mind that your goods are protected whilst storing with us. Having the right protection in place ensures that you can recover the value of your items should your goods be lost or damaged in an event that is outside of our control, such as a fire, theft, or a natural disaster. It is the sensible choice for anyone using self-storage, protecting your assets and adding an extra layer of security for your goods while in our store.
This will depend on the value of your goods in store. Our average customer declares a maximum replacement value of £5,000. Based on this value, our StoreProtect charges amount to £6.50 per week.
You must consider the maximum replacement value as new for all contents when being stored, not the price you paid when you purchased each item.
At Cinch Storage we have CCTV in operation 24/7, intruder alarms and storage units are also alarmed. Your unique PIN Code gives you access out of trading hours. Fire and smoke detectors are also in use.
