La Pernella is a pizzeria that offers excellent service, wonderful prices and, most importantly, delicious food. Opened in 1994 by an Italian family with a long lasting passion for tasty food, it is unsurprising that it offers such excellent Italian cuisine. They have vegetarian and vegan options available so it is a great place for all pizza lovers. 

If you are a steak lover, at Roxie you will find the best steak in London. They have all the classics; ribeye, sirloin, rump and fillet.. Each steak is aged for a minimum of 21 days and they are  cut by hand in their central butchery and delivered to all sites daily. They do also have a few vegetarian options on the menu and a lot of wonderful cocktails. 

If you are more of a brunch person or just fancy a delicious cup of coffee, Bean & Hop is the perfect place. A family owned cafe, they provide the best brunches and breakfasts in Earlsfield. They have a great selection of dishes, including vegetarian and vegan options. 

Immerse Yourself in Nature and Leisure

Wandsworth Common is an excellent example of the types of nature led things to do in Earlsfield. Wandsworth Common is over 170 acres of luscious greenery. Its history dates back to mediaeval times. It provides access to natural landscapes and wildlife, alongside sports facilities. 

Then there is the Wandle Trail. The Wandle Trail is a 12.5-mile walking and cycling trail that follows the River Wandle from Croydon to Wandsworth. Walking on the trail allows you to enjoy the heritage, flora and fauna of this typical chalk stream in the heart of some of south London’s most industrialised landscape.

Founded in 1977 by a group of young Wandsworth residents, the company’s first Artistic Director, Jatinder Verma, along with Sunil Saggar, Ovais Kadri, Praveen Bahl and Vijay Shaunak. It was launched as a direct response to the racist murder of 17-year-old Gurdip Singh Chaggar. Over nearly five decades, The Tara Theatre has nurtured Asian performers, writers, directors and many more. The theatre has many different types of performances on from comedy to performances that still reflect their starting point of activism. 

Shopping and Local Markets

There are a great deal of independent shops in Earlsfield, with Garratt Lane again being the place to be. 

There is a vast variety of independent shops such as Blume, where you can buy beautiful floral arrangements. At Dugard and Daughters, you can enjoy the produce of a family run butchers and larder. 

There are also many farmers markets in the surrounding area that will allow you to shop and feel a part of the local community.
