There is a lot for Swindon residents to do around the town. The town centre has a fully pedestrianised high street which features a huge range of independent shops and well known retailers. Transport
Swindon has become quite the transport hub over the years. It is home to the infamous ‘Magic Roundabout’ which is made up of 6 interconnecting roundabouts. Unsurprisingly as it is an old railway town, Swindon also has a railway station on the Great Western Main Line, which has regular trains to London, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Bristol, and Cardiff.
There are also many buses that will take you around town and to places in the surrounding area.

In our opinion, the answer is yes. It has a lot of things you can do no matter what you enjoy. There are many places to go shopping, eating and places where you can enjoy the great outdoors. There are also many events and festivals throughout the year.
It is well connected via its transport links and it has many excellent schools so it is a great place to live for families.
