Finn Sanderson began The Vintage Rack just over a year ago and it has gone from strength to strength. Here, we will tell his story and how Cinch Self Storage Huntingdon has helped. 

Finn began The Vintage Rack in 2024 with his partner Millie when they were both still at college, studying fashion. They did a project on worn and disused clothing and they focussed on carboot sales and items that were being thrown away. They then began buying some of the clothing and selling it for a bit of fun and as part of their project. 

Quickly, Finn and Millie realised that it was doing quite well so they found some wholesalers and sourced some clothing from charity shops. 

Now, in the last four months, The Vintage Rack has gone from strength to strength.

What You Will Find At The Vintage Rack 

The Vintage Rack specialises in selling preloved designer clothing, particularly Ralph Lauren. They stock a good range of clothing, all in different sizes and also in different conditions. 

They have a wide range of items in varying preloved conditions at a variety of price points, so there is something for everyone. 

The Ethos Of The Vintage Rack 

A big part of why Finn and Millie founded The Vintage Rack is that they want to help stop the fast fashion movement. They are wanting to find items that can be repurposed and reused and save them from ending up in landfills. 

“We are trying to stop the whole fast fashion movement by recycling and reusing items. We try to be as green as we can.” 

How Cinch Self Storage Huntingdon Has Helped

Finn and The Vintage Rack began renting a storage unit with us in April 2025 and there were some key things that led to them choosing to rent one of our storage units in Huntingdon. Here, we will look at how we have helped Finn and The Vintage Rack. 

Convenient Access 

One of the key things Finn was looking for when looking for storage was he needed somewhere that offered convenient access so he could work when he needed to. At our Huntingdon store, he found just that. 

“We wanted to have all day access because we often work from 12pm to 9pm. We needed somewhere that didn’t shut at 5pm.” 

Across all our stores, we offer convenient access hours, outside of our regular opening hours. These are at the customers request and the store’s discretion but we will always do all we can to help our customers. 

Security

Security was of high importance to Finn and our high level of security ended up being one of the main selling points for our self storage. 

“The security is fantastic. We have three different codes to get through to our storage unit so that is a big plus. The security definitely sold it [Cinch Self Storage Huntingdon] for us.” 

All of our storage units are equipped with an alarm and smoke and fire detectors. We have 24/7 CCTV surveillance and, as Finn mentions, pin-code access across our stores. 

Excellent Team 

Another selling point for our storage is how helpful our Huntingdon team is. 

“Everyone is so helpful. They will bring our deliveries to our storage unit for us. They will let us know anything we need to know. They are just very helpful” 

We are very happy to hear that we have been able to provide Finn and The Vintage Rack with the storage they need and to have given them a good experience with our storage, our Huntingdon team and the storage facility itself. 

“Everything is just top level. The other units we looked at were a little cobwebby and just really felt like a warehouse. [At Cinch Self Storage Huntingdon]The staff are top tier. Everything is top tier. I can’t fault anything.”
