Matt Barton, the founder of Conquest Blinds, uses our self-storage in Huntingdon to add some convenience to his business and his working day. 

Conquest Blinds began with just Matt doing it all by himself. As the business progressed and he got busier, he began to realise he needed some help. He has been able to find that via using our self storage and also by bringing his partner and son into the team. The addition of family members to his team really reflects the ethos of Matt’s business as he wants to always give a personal touch to every blind he fits. 

When you work with Matt, he will bring samples to your home and discuss options with you, so you can make sure that you are getting a blind that is perfect for your home. This kind of personal touch is very important as customer service means everything to him and he understands that a blind can be the finishing touch to a person’s home. 

Along with working on people’s homes, he has also brought his expert blind fitting to Coca Cola and Sheffield Wednesday football club. 

As his business quickly grew he found himself in need of storage and at Cinch Self Storage he found this and much more. 

Helping hand

One of the main reasons that Matt began using self-storage was that he needed somewhere handy to store his blinds as it was getting to a point where blinds were taking over his home. 

“It got to a point where as I was getting busier my front room was full of blinds so I needed a solution. Somewhere to put them before I fit them.” 

We were able to offer one better than simply storing Matt’s stock, as a member of our team is always on hand to also accept delivery of the blinds which has been a great help to him. This means he can get on with his work day without having to worry about missing his deliveries. 

Convenient access hours

Along with the convenience brought by us accepting his deliveries, the extended opening hours on offer at our Huntingdon store are extremely useful for him.

“On busy days I don’t finish until around 8pm and I have always either got to get something from my unit or something in it so being able to get in at that time of night is really handy.” 

Our Huntingdon store extended opening hours are 6am to 11pm, Monday to Sunday.

Our Huntingdon team have proven to be a great help for Matt and his business, taking in his deliveries and being a helping hand he sometimes needs.
