Mr Benjamin Williamson-Westerman Esq. has seen success within many different areas of business, all with one constant focus: sustainability. Here we tell his story and how he began using Cinch Self Storage Bicester. 

Benjamin has a great deal of ambition which has led to him forming many businesses including a full-stack IT company, a marketing and branding company and running a carbon-neutral ‘farm-to-fork’ farm in Denmark. When he was running the farm it had a farm shop, on-site restaurant and butchers, which all served the purpose of helping Benjamin develop software which would help other businesses and farms with their CO2e certifications, credits and promotions. 

Throughout all his businesses, sustainability has always been at the forefront and, in 2019, his businesses collectively met nine of the sustainable development goals set out by the UN. 

After securing a lease on a pub in Essex, Benjamin had plans to move his farm over to the UK, including all of his cows, in order to continue his work in sustainability and to bring the ‘farm-to-fork’ experience to the UK. This, unfortunately, did not work out as planned and Benjamin decided to focus on his software. 

In need of a place to store all this kitchen equipment from the pub, Benjamin discovered Cinch Self Storage Bicester by accident but it has proven to be a very happy accident. 

Happy accident 

Benjamin was already using self-storage in Chelmsford, Essex but he wanted to find something that was closer to his business base, the Bicester Eco Business Centre. He had searched for self-storage in the area and found the address for another company. This address led him to a dead end. Upon turning his car around, he saw the Cinch Self Storage sign and decided to go in and chat with the team. 

“I drove across the road and met with Nigel. He was lovely and really helpful. Kind of laid back and that was really nice. I made the deal there and then.” 

Personal touch
