Joanna began Cheeky Chops Cards after not being able to find any cards she would want to send to her friends and family. 

Starting at her kitchen table, whilst her children were at school, she began creating her own designs.

With the fun and cheeky cards that Joanna was designing it is not hard to see why Cheeky Chops Cards have thrived. Adding Wanky Candles to the mix led to the business growing even more, with shops beginning to stock their products.

This growth meant that their stock could no longer fit in the toy shed, so she looked to self storage for a solution.

“It’s perfect for what we need because we just need it for products, not the manufacturing side of it.” Joanna says.

And, although not needed year round, Cinch Self Storage’s 24/7 access, available by arrangement, is a great help from November onwards as the business becomes more of a 24/7 operation in the build up to Christmas. 

“November, December, we kind of become 24/7 and to have the access as needed is perfect. It works perfectly for us.” Joanna says. 

Community spirit

Within Cinch Enterprise Centre Huntingdon there is a real community spirit between all the businesses which Joanna really loves. 

“We all generally try to help each other.” Joanna says.

This help even extends to her Dad helping to build units for her fellow Huntingdon businesses!

“My Dad has done some work for a lady around the corner. He built her some units! She saw him building a workbench and now he has ended up doing a few jobs.”
