The Peckovers were a Quaker banking family and owners of the Peckover Bank. They presented the house to the National Trust in 1948. The house was given a grade II listed building status in 1985.
Peckover House and gardens are open to the public from Thursday to Monday. The house is open from 11am to 3pm, with the last entry at 2.30pm. The gardens are open 10.30am to 4pm, with the last entry being 3.30pm.
Entrance to the garden is free and the house is free entry to National trust members. If you are not a member, it is £10.00 for adults, £5.00 for children aged 5-17 and children under 5 get free entry.
